Elah Yunupingu is a Yolngu man, who comes from Yirrkala, N.E Arnhem Land, and is deeply connected to his culture and his country. He is also the grandson of the late Yothu Yindi singer, Dr Yunupingu.

He is a family man and his works are of a traditional style and colour and mostly depict local animals, birds and fish.

Elah is an emerging artist who has recently moved to Darwin for a time to establish his position in the art world and for the education of his children.
