Our Owner

Jason Brydon established Red Kangaroo Gallery as an online art gallery in 2016.

Jason is a Gamilaraay man, he began his career working in advertising and marketing roles for over 20+ years. He has a wealth of Marketing and Administrative experience that he has gained through these roles and that he applies to the Gallery's website, social media and advertising. He says "I've learnt a great deal more about Indigenous culture from all over Australia since I started the gallery and I'm happy to share my knowledge and passion with anyone who's willing to listen."

Hailing from Gunnedah, on Gamilaraay Country in North West NSW, he has always had an interest in collecting art and supporting artistic talent. He has built Red Kangaroo Gallery off the back of his genuine interest, appreciation and passion for Australian, Aboriginal and Street Art.

He has a particular appreciation for artworks that contain intricate line-work & bright colours - favouring artists such as Charles Blackman, Betty Club Mbitjana, Lily Kelly Napangardi, Abie Loy Kemarre, Emily Pwerle and Mitjilti Naparulla.
