Samantha Morgan is a talented artist from the Aboriginal artist community of Utopia (NE of Alice Springs). She is the niece of the late Gloria Petyarre and her artwork has been strongly influenced by her aunty, who passed down the sacred Dreamtime stories of the ‘Bush Medicine Leaves’ to her.
The Bush Medicine Leaves design represents the native shrub grown in Utopia which is relied upon by the community given it’s remarkable medicinal qualities.
Samantha is considered an up and coming artist and one of the next generation of artists from the Petyarre family.
