Julieanne Turner Nungurrayi (b.1975) is the daughter of fellow artists Maureen Nampijinpa Hudson and mother to Farron Furber Jampitjinpa. She is a proud Warlpiri women, who was born at Mount Allen (Yuelamu), near the Yuendumu community.

This painting by Julieanne brings to life the Budgerigar Dreaming—a story that offers a budgerigar’s perspective of Mount Allen.

Julieanne also honours her mother Maureen by painting the "Tali/Sand dunes" story, a tradition she shares with her sister Gwenda & son Farron. Her 'Tali' paintings are dynamic, filled with intricate dot patterns that capture the movement of the shifting sand dunes.

Known for her extraordinary talent and precision, Julieanne stands out as a popular artist. Her vibrant use of colour, particularly yellow, which is her favourite colour and she describes as makes her happy, adds a unique brilliance to her works.
