Karen Pollard and her four brothers have been surrounded by some of the great names in Aboriginal art. Her mother is Nellie Marks Nakamarra and her grandfather is Turkey Tolson Tjupurrula.

Karen helps her mother paint and learns the culture stories so she may pass them on to the next generation. Her paintings have gained a strong following within a very short space of time and she is an artist to watch.
